Roussanne
Roussanne is usually found in a blend with Marsanne making northern Rhône whites such as Crozes-Hermitage Blanc and Saint-Joseph Blanc. It brings more aroma to the wine, typically notes of herbal tea and spring blossom. Roussanne, despite being tricky to grow, is increasing in popularity and you may find it in California, Portugal (Esporão use it) and Australia.
