Royal Lochnagar Distillery

The new distillery was built by John Begg in 1845 in the tiny village of Crathie. Three years later Queen Victoria bought the Balmoral Estate and granted the distillery a Royal Warrant. The style is gently smoky with cake, fruit and malty notes.
