Please note: We only deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom, and do not ship overseas.
Delivery in Mainland UK
Delivery is FREE on orders of £95 or more to a single address in mainland UK.
Please add £7.95 post & packing per delivery address for orders under £95.
Dozens, half dozens and 1,2 & 3 packs minimize packaging waste.
Unless advised otherwise, you will normally receive your delivery within two working days*, Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm.
Please contact us should this not be the case.
*You should allow three working days for delivery to the Scottish Highlands.
Please note: We operate a signature service on all deliveries.
Goods can be left unsigned for, but you must specify this during checkout, with instructions on where to leave the goods should you be out.
Any goods that have been left according to instruction and not delivered over the recipients threshold are left at the senders risk.
- Next Week Day Delivery by 12 noon is charged at a flat rate of £12.
Orders for Next Week Day delivery must be received by 2pm on the preceding week day (excluding bank holidays) so that we have time to pack them.
- Saturday Delivery by 12 noon is charged at a flat rate of £20.
Orders for Saturday Delivery must be received by 2pm on Friday
(or by 2pm on Thursday before the Easter weekend).
- Tasting Ticket(s) will be despatched by First Class Royal Mail (free of charge) to your selected delivery address within 2 working days of placing your order.

We always do our very best to achieve our stated delivery times but please note we can not be responsible for circumstances beyond Tanners control including, but not limited to, adverse weather conditions and supplier & carrier difficulties.
Please note when sending gifts that addresses must be accurate, particularly for recipients at large organisations. Don’t forget to include a daytime phone number and 'Delivery Address Instructions' at checkout on where to leave the goods if the recipient is out i.e. 'If out leave with neighbour'. If you don’t leave an instruction, the driver will leave a card to which the recipient will have to respond and it will result in a delay to your delivery.

You will appreciate that stock positions are subject to continual change in a multi-channel business. Very occasionally, an item may be out of stock that the website has allowed you to order. To ensure a timely delivery, we will substitute with a similar item of equal or higher value (at no additional cost), unless requested not to do so in your order’s delivery instructions.
Delivery to other areas - additional charges
- Deliveries to the Isle of Wight are £5 per case
- Northern Ireland and Scilly Isles are £10 per case
- The main Scottish Islands and Isle of Man are £15 per case.
You should allow up to 6 working days for delivery to these areas.
Please note: we do not export from the UK.
Breakages: Goods must be examined and breakages notified immediately, within two days of delivery at the latest. Please telephone on 01743 234455 or contact us to organise a credit or replacement.
Faulty Wines: If you discover a faulty wine that you have bought from us, please retain the bottle, its contents and packaging and telephone us on 01743 234455 or contact us to organise a credit or replacement.
If you don’t like any wine that you buy from us, for whatever reason, return it within a month of purchase and we shall refund your money without question or delay.

Refunds for Tasting Tickets: If you need to arrange a refund at any time prior to us posting your ticket(s), please ring 01743 234455. Once we've posted the ticket(s), if you are unable to attend for any reason, please let us know as soon as you can and wherever possible, we will attempt to resell your ticket(s) on your behalf.
Please note that once we've despatched them, refunds can only be issued in the instance that we are able to resell your ticket(s).
Delivery & Collection of Party Orders
All wines are available on Sale or Return for delivery and collection within the Tanners Own Van Delivery Area. Beers, soft drinks and spirits are available on Sale or Return for delivery and collection within this same area, but only in addition to wine orders. Any returns from outside this area are at the customer’s expense.
Glasses are available for delivery within Tanners Own Van Delivery Area, but only for events where the entire drink order comes from Tanners. Any returns from outside this area are at the customer’s expense.
