McHenry Hohnen Vintners

McHenry Hohnen Vintners is a family run wine producer sourcing grapes from four vineyards in Margaret River and is owned by Murray McHenry and David Hohnen. David Hohnen was responsible for establishing Cape Mentelle and Cloudy Bay before going into partnership with Murray.

Spread between four vineyards, eighteen grape varieties are cultivated reflecting the area’s heritage, with Bordeaux, Southern French and Spanish varieties thriving in the Mediterranean climate of the Margaret River. There are also plantings of Chardonnay, Viognier, Barbera, Sangiovese and Zinfandel. The aim is to produce varietally expressive wines which clearly reflect the region’s distinctive terroir.
