At 114 years old these are truly old vines but still producing 35 to 40hl/ha each year. Intensely fruity, on the darker end of the spectrum, the palate shows a richness and depth with fine weight, rounded tannins and a sophisticated finish.

A blend aged 40% in new oak casks and 60% in tank which moderates the oak influence, the result has a fine tension and minerality this year. It is super juicy with good weight of fruit and a long, elegant finish.

Bouzeron is a tiny village level appellation where only Aligote is permitted. This is a terrific example, full of crunchy apple skin and lemon rind, pleasing concentration with sweet fruit.

A classic village Chablis from 2 parcels totalling 5 ha. This shows plenty of fresh, crisp, citrus fruit character with a hint of saline. More bright citrus on the palate with a note of fresh herbs before a mineral finish.

Rich and intense on the nose with plenty of dark cherry fruit, a touch of spice and beef consommé. On the palate this is a powerful wine big but aways elegant, it has lovely weight and depth with a long finish.

Intense black cherry fruit with a touch of oak evident with notes of black tea. It is sweet fruited with plenty of density, hints of clove and dried orange, but the finish is more wild strawberry with lovely definition and length.

Darker fruit character verging on damson, it is intense and aromatic on the nose with lovely silky tannins on the palate. A hint of fresh fennel joins the beautifully concentrated fruit, very fine tannins and great length.

Pale but with bags of character, a very pretty Pinot nose of red fruits and floral hints. Plenty of sweet and juicy fruit on the palate with cherries and berries but also some nicely integrated tannins showing good balance and length.

Tiny yield of just 8hl/ha has given great concentration and depth to the wine. A vinous nose with very ripe fruit, it shows a depth and richness that belies the vintage, it is concentrated and elegant with a very fine finish.

A serious, less fruity nose that shows more structure and depth on the palate with some cherry fruit with a note of sous bois. There's also a mineral character, some fine tannins and a long, elegant and fresh finish.

These vines were planted in 1946 and 1952 to the east of the village. Matured in old oak to add depth not flavour, there is a pretty, floral character with sweet citrus, plenty of weight and a touch of pear skin fruit on the finish.

This year a blend of Les Chaponnières and La Barre due to the quantities. A ripe cherry nose with a touch of spice, it has some gentle tannins present on the palate bringing pleasant structure to the wine before a fine, easy finish.

Big, rich and spicy with plenty of coffee and dark chocolate oak amongst the fruit on the nose. The palate is super-concentrated with depth, weight, balance, a lick of spice and terrific length, it remains elegant throughout.

The low yields here have given great depth of colour and flavour and the vintage has brought juiciness. The overall effect is charming with lovely bright aromatics, decent weight and length, and a plenty of body showing a little oak spice.

A new cuvee for Sebastien from a plot of 70 year old vines just below his house. An appealing raspberry perfume with floral hints and a touch of undergrowth. Gently spiced but with lovely sweet fruit, some rounded tannins and a long, juicy finish.

Always deeper, richer and more intensity here. A little closed and brooding at this time but the balance is superb with weight, definition, plenty of fruit and some grippy, yet never aggressive, tannins, before a very long, elegant finish.

Clear concentration on the nose with notes of pencil shavings and damson fruit. The iron rich soils bring a fuller body and tight tannins but all in harmony and with a few years aging this will be excellent.

Dense blackberry and fresh fig along with pencil shaving notes too. There’s a fine, nuanced line of minerality running through the backbone, from the nutrient-poor, limestone soils, with silky tannins adding even more finesse.

Les Blanches Fleurs is a gravelly terroir which was particularly beneficial in the humid conditions of 2024, once again there is a real lightness and delicacy with a fine mineral backbone. Fragrant, juicy and full of spice with great length.

Fragrant, blackberry and strawberry fruit with notes of peony and truffle and a touch of cinnamon coming through. Finely structured with present but integrated tannins and a creamy, milk chocolate finish.

The poor soil of Corton-Bressandes gives a wine of real concentration and depth but plenty of elegance. Its bright and lively with wild blackberries, red plums and spicy oak. Long and nuanced with tons of complexity.

For a so-called ?entry level? offering, this races out of the blocks and hits the ground running. Rich and juicy with luscious stone fruit, captivating concentration and perfectly judged acidity.

Estelle and Michel have a third of a ha of Volnay 1er cru, which this year made just three barrels. This is structured but delicate, persistent rather than powerful, svelte and graceful. Full of earthy, sous bois and red fruits. Lovely.

Forêts is part of the larger Montmains 1er cru, being in the centre it has both weight and minerality. It is full of sweet, ripe, citrus fruit but beautifully balanced with an ozone freshness.

Expressive, with a lovely nose of orchard fruit and Mirabelle plums, a touch of honey and a mere hint of creamy oak. Rich and mouthfilling it has super weight and a fine mineral finish.

Very attractive this year with sweet red fruit character of strawberry, raspberry and fine floral note. The fruit is wonderfully sweet on the palate supported by some nice rounded tannins, a hint of spice and a lovely mineral finish.

From seven plots this has an expressive nose with attractive fruit character of plums and raspberries. Plenty of density on the palate, well balanced with ripe tannins and a touch of something meaty on the finish.

Now over 100 years old these old vines have seen it all! Hugely concentrated but never less than elegant with sweet almost jammy red and black fruit, fine velvety tannins, great depth, a lovely balanced freshness and a long, elegant finish.

A darker colour in the glass, as expected from Savigny, with an earthy, savoury bouquet. There is a suppleness in the mouth, aided by firm but discreet tannins and an enjoyable note of dark creamy chocolate.

Vines are a minimum of 45 years old from a plot right next to Nuits-St-Georges 1er cru terroir and it shows. Great structure and density, full of juicy, black fruits, a little clove and allspice. Very approachable.

A floral, almost potpourri-like fragrance builds in the glass. Ripe, tropical fruit coming through on the palate with fresh almonds, nice weight and roundness without being too broad.

Lavender and ripe cherry notes lure you in to a beautiful and finely structured palate. More delicate lavender backed up with touches of iris, cranberry, vanilla and dried herbs. Really long and persistent.

A blend of six 1er cru’s that Nicolas create as a tribute to his mother some years ago. Creamy, grilled almond and mocha aromas with plenty of black cherry and plums. Textured and layered, it finishes long with plenty of blueberry jam

Created by Alphonse and Antonia as a tribute to their late father. Vosne-Romanee is, perhaps, one of the most lauded of all the Burgundy villages and is one Nicolas truly loved. A smorgasbord of flavours, with red and black fruits, dried herbs, fresh florals and spice, all wrapped up in silky tannins. This has so many layers to it, finishing with delicious cherry pie. Excellent.

Produced from 50-year-old vines on the top of the Le Clos plateau, the Petit is a super value entry level estate wine. Fermented and aged in stainless steel, this is all about freshness and purity. Bright with notes of citrus, fresh apple and a hint of salinity on the finish, it pairs up very nicely with seafood or simply delicious on its own! 0-3 years. "This is from a plot just above Les Clos, and it punches well above its weight. Lively, bright, stony and mineral with good texture and weight. This shows depth and vitality. Probably one of the best village Chablis's out there, the grapes are sourced from the Pargues, Montmains and Montée de Tonnerre vineyards. 100% fermented and aged in stainless steel, the village oozes purity and delivers aromas of nectarine, crisp apple and oyster shell. A little lees ageing adds a pleasing texture. Classically mineral driven in character, with fresh acidity it has a lovely tension and finishes bone-dry. Your go to Chablis! 0- 5 years. Fermented in 100 % stainless steel, there's evident notes of lime, tropical fruit and wet stone. This is one for the purists. With its classic steely structure, it delivers signature Chablis minerality, saline notes and that flintiness that is hard not to like. It softens with a little more time in the glass but it's always going to be on the more austere side. 5-15 years. "There is a linear quality to this, but also a bit of depth. Hints of cream. Bright, linear acidity with lime and crystalline lemon. Nice tension." 95/100 (Jamie Goode)

With 20% fermented in barrel and the remaining 80% in stainless steel, the Tonnerre gives up alluring notes of stone fruit, a little white peach and a hint of aniseed. On the palate it possesses delicious creamy mouthfeel, with prominent leesy weight and texture but bright, zingy acidity. A superbly balanced wine, whilst delicious now, will need further cellar time to really show its class. 5-15 years. "This has some exotic peach and pear character as well as crystalline citrus fruit, with a nice liquid mineral character. Fine, fresh and detailed with nice purity and harmony. The Bougros vineyard is the most western of the seven Grand Cru climats. Samuel chooses to vinify the grapes in a 50/50 blend of barrel aged and stainless steel, the resulting wine is superbly balanced wine with signature acidity, evident minerality and saline notes. Sitting atop this structure lies a wealth of apple, lime, ginger, citrus and even starbursts! A treat, this will age gracefully for years to come. 5-15 years. "50% raised in 500 litre barrels. This has incredible concentration and weight with bold citrus and pineapple and pear fruit with amazing vitality and intensity. There’s a spicy, mineral character. Really powerful with a slight hint of cabbage and gunsmoke adding complexity. This is a striking wine showing real weight." 97/100 (Jamie Goode).
