Asbach
Asbach is a renowned German brandy with a rich heritage dating back to 1892, when it was founded by Hugo Asbach in Rüdesheim am Rhein in the Rheingau wine region. Known for its craftsmanship and distinctive character, Asbach is made from carefully selected wines, which are double-distilled in copper stills and aged in small oak casks.
This process imparts depth, smoothness, and a refined complexity to the spirit. Asbach uses German wine grapes, primarily from the Rhine region, giving it a unique flavour profile which contrast with cognac. Notes of dried fruit, vanilla, and subtle spice make Asbach a versatile and sophisticated drink. It is commonly enjoyed neat, in coffee (a popular German tradition known as Rüdesheimer Kaffee), or as an ingredient in cocktails, sometimes being mixed with Coke! With over a century of tradition, Asbach remains a symbol of German quality in the world of brandy.
