Bodegas Ayuso

Bodegas Ayuso was founded in 1947 by Fermin Ayuso Roig in the heart of the La Mancha region, famous for its association with Cervantes and Don Quixote. In 1961 it started selling wines in bottle, locally at first, starting export in 1985 and it now sells to most of the major markets around the world.

They were the first winery in La Mancha to start producing Reserva wines. They have 350 hectares of vines themselves with grapes also sourced from growers on long term contracts. They have a new winery with ultra-modern refrigeration, filtering and bottling together with underground storage for 12000 barrels and the storage capacity will increase to 35 million litres. This is a bodega which combines tradition with a forward thinking approach.
