Château La Dominique

Château La Dominique is a Saint-Emilion grand cru Classé with aspirations!

The estate's fortunes were turned around in 1969 when motorway magnate Clément Fayat purchased the property. It is wonderfully situated sharing a boundary with Château Cheval Blanc, and has an excellent mix of clay and gravel soils. The vineyards are planted with predominantly Merlot (80%) with 15% Cabernet Franc and just 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. The property is increasingly moving towards sustainable viticulture and has some parcels which are organically cultivated.
