Château Pichon Longueville Lalande

In 1978 Mme Lencquesaing, a descendant of the Miailhe family, inherited the estate and with boundless energy she restored the reputation of the wine around the world. In terms of quality the wines are often equivalent to that of a first growth and possess great elegance, fruit and structure - they also age very gracefully. In 2007, to secure the property's future, she sold a majority interest to the Rouzaud family who also own the Champagne House Louis Roederer. They have continued to invest and have built a new chai.
