Rondinella
Rondinella is a red grape variety native to the Veneto region of north-east Italy, traditionally cultivated alongside Corvina and Molinara in Valpolicella and Bardolino blends. Though it contributes relatively little aroma on its own, Rondinella is valued for its hardiness, disease resistance, and consistent yields. It produces light- to medium-bodied wines with bright red fruit flavours, soft tannins, and moderate acidity, providing structure and balance, especially in appassimento wines like Amarone and Recioto.
