They planted their first vineyard of Bordeaux varieties in the Maipo Valley, attracted by the region’s advantageous position between the Andes and the Pacific Ocean. Since then, the company has grown enormously with 30 vineyards spanning over 5700 hectares of Chile’s Central Valley and expanded world-wide allying itself to Baron Philippe de Rothschild in 1997 to extend into the realms of the very finest wines.
