PORTUGAL
A complex old vine field blend of 25 varietals from the Torto River Valley, showing a classic Douro nose of elderberry, blackberry, dark flowers, a minty/menthol vapour, and creamier blue/black notes beneath. Generous, silky and rounded on the palate, mellow and fresh, the tannins are super fine and integrated giving a plush feel to the whole ahead of a pleasingly drier-than-most finish that offers a touch of fig and liquorice.
