Chase Distillery
Chase distillery was founded in 2008 by William Chase following his successful sale of Tyrrell's crisps. After a trip to the USA he realised he could use the potatoes grown on the farm to produce vodka. This was followed soon after by their gin made using apples and other botanicals grown in or around the distillery. In March 2021 the distillery was acquired by the multi-national drinks giant Diageo. Following the evolution of the gin and vodka markets, in January 2025, in order to preserve and future proof the brand, they took the decision to re-locate production, lock stock and barrel to their Cameronbridge distillery in Fife, Scotland, Europe's largest, and to subsequently close the original site in Hereford.
